Connection with your Higher Self - Part 12
In each one of us lies a spark of what some would call, God, spirit, soul or one of many other names. It is that small part of us that connects us with the I Am What I Am or for that matter is our aspect of the I Am. As I travel along my own path I find that the more I work on myself and with the creative spark that I have inside me the more that I open myself up to the possibility of what it is like to be a human.
We are all humans and we have all been blessed with this wonderful creative spark, but how many of us can honestly say that we have the courage to follow where that inner guidance takes us. Like many I have been sidetracked along the way on a number of occasions but for some reason, god, great spirit, my higher self or just plain luck keeps dragging me back on the path.
Now this path has led me to screenwriting and the film process. It is not that I have lost the love of writing or sharing esoteric stories, it is just that my inner being is always wanting me to stretch myself. Something that is not so easy when I am fifty nine and society expects me to be preparing for retirement. The call of spirit has been incredibly strong in my fifties. It was there in the earlier decades but I perhaps was trying not to listen.
My brother's heart attack and finding out I had the same cardiovascular problem certainly made me stand up and take notice. In the nine years since I have written three books, completed a degree in Health Sciences, an MBA, traveled to the lands of the Maya to research my forth book and experience the end of the world on 21/12/2012 at Palenque.
So the end of the world did not happen I hear you say. Are you so sure. How has your life changed in the last seven months? Have you been noticing any changes. Are you still happy with the life you are leading or is there something nagging you to change.
When I arrived back from the lands of the Maya I finished my third book, the soon to be published 'Way of the Initiate,' a parable about reconnecting with your higher self. Since then spirit has taken me in a whole different direction. I have started to write screenplays, and to do so I have opened up to be involved in all aspects of filmmaking to better understand the process. I have even started taking acting classes. This change in the way I write and tell stories has opened me up to worlds that I would never have thought possible.
What is your inner spirit telling you? Listen and follow it an I will promise you a life that is never boring. At times it will challenge what you believe about yourself and others, but if you can keep pushing the boundaries you will live an extraordinary life.
Today's chapter of the Way of the Initiate deals with the inner self. I hope you enjoy.
I Am That I Am
Over the next couple years, the old sage and his apprentice travelled all over the countryside, stopping every now and then when the sage would heal people or teach children about nature and the Elements.
It was during one of these stays in the village of Te Dang that the old sage asked the young man to begin teaching children about the inner self. The old sage knew that to master a subject, one needed to teach it to others in order to allow the teaching to come from within and be expressed as an aspect of the young man in the outer world.
The young man had been nervous all day. In the years he had spent with the old sage, he had always been the student, never the teacher. Although from time to time he would aid the old sage in his healing of the sick, he never led anything, instead always serving in a support role. This would be the first time he would take the lead, and it was exciting and daunting at the same time. He had watched the old man engage his audience in a matter of seconds, and although he sometimes spoke to hundreds, it always looked like he was speaking to each one of them individually.
How could he ever be like that? The old man had a magic about him, the magic of the Initiate. He never put himself above anyone, and he never engaged anyone in an argument. He never foisted his opinion on anyone, preferring only to answer questions as they were asked. He always accepted without question what each day would bring, he never asked for anything and yet his needs were always provided for.
He remembered back to the day when his pack and the dragonfly pendant were stolen. It had been a horrible day; yet, as he looked back on it, it was one of the best teachings he had ever received. Since that day, he had become the observer, and like the old sage, he was now taking each day as it came.
As he relived that day, he tried to remember what the old sage had taught him. What had the old sage said? He was having difficulty remembering. Huo took a deep breath and held it for a moment, and in seconds he could feel the calmness and all-knowing of the Initiate come around him. In his mind's eye, he could now see the old sage sitting deep in meditation.
Although he still seemed to be in a deep trance, all at once he opened his eyes and words fell from his mouth. The words that fell from his lips were from a deep part of the old sage, in a voice that was very different from his normal voice.
"It is important that you believe that you are already the Initiate and that you have this power within you. You need to make it a part of your now and not off-in-some-distance future. You need to create the Initiate within before it can express itself in the outer world. It is in the mirror worlds of the inner self where all creation takes place. What happens in the outer world is but a mirror to what you have created within. If you want to understand what you are creating with your thoughts and feelings, all you have to do is look at what is happening in the outer world. If you do not like what is happening, then you need to change what you are feeling and thinking. To be the Initiate, you have to be able to believe in a life that you cannot hear, touch, or taste, but rather a life that you will eventually begin to feel. It is strange that by believing and opening yourself up to being the Initiate and walking the way of the Initiate, something inside you opens up to the possibility.
"As you walk the path, you will begin to understand that the love that comes from the Tao or God is impartial. Although this energy does not care what you do with your life, it is possible to direct the energy and create whatever you want in your life. I do not mean that if you have a wishy washy thought that you want something that it will come into your life, because it won't. You first have to create the feeling of already having it in the inner worlds, and then this energy will be expressed and delivered in the outer world and the godforce will manifest what you already believe is yours."
Huo felt re-energized. The words of the old sage coursed through his entire being, then out into the audience before him. Children who were loud and raucous only minutes before were sitting quietly, waiting for the young man to speak.
"Let me tell you a story," said the young man, and the children hung on his every word. "It is the story of a young boy who was taken in and became an apprentice to an old sage. The old sage taught him about nature and the seasons. He taught him how to connect with the animals and become their friend. He taught him how to sit in the forest and connect with his inner self and to understand that everything in the universe was connected."
As he went deeper into the story and the teachings he received from the old sage, he could see the connection he was having with his young students. Their eyes started to bulge as they took in everything he said - and even more than that, they could take in everything he felt. In many cases, they could not understand what he was saying with their logical minds, especially the younger ones, but on some level they all understood.
As Huo was talking, a picture began to form in his mind. He continued to teach the children, but a deeper part of himself was focused on the picture that was building in his mind. It was a scene from what looked like the future. As he focused deeper, he could see himself as the old sage. Following behind him were a number of apprentices, but the landscape was different - and this certainly was not China because many of his apprentices were definitely not Chinese. As he went deeper into the picture with his feelings, he knew it to be true. Was he creating this future because of his belief in being the initiate, or was he growing into a life that was predestined?
Those thoughts and feelings disappeared as he put his attention back on the children before him. He may have had a glimpse of his future, but it was what he was doing in the present that would determine what he would become.
Blessings and Peace and may you open up to the wonders of the journey that is your journey.
Blessings and Peace

The Mayan Cities of Light
The Mayan Cities of Light
In a weeks time I will be off on a trip to the five cities of light in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. These five cities of light which include the famous sites of Palenque, Tikal, and Copan are the setting for my next book the The 33rd Sage and the Ancient Ones. It is the final book in the 33rd Sage trilogy, stories based on the teachings I received from my old Chinese teacher and later by other members of an ancient brotherhood.
The trip to Central America will be the culmination of a teaching that I have been receiving, bit by bit, for almost thirty years. Sometimes I wonder why they could not have just given me the teaching in one foul swoop, rather than having to follow the little messages they have left for me all over this and other worlds. I understand that we are all eternal, immortal and infinite and it should not matter how long or over how many lifetimes the searching or the journey takes, but my ego self would like to have all the information and get on with life. But as the higher self understands, that is the life that I have chosen to live this time. To others I would seem like a wanderer, as I have constantly changed jobs only to reach a certain level of success before once again, there is that little nagging from the inner worlds and I am drawn again into another quest in a different country.
The five Mayan Cities of Light have been whispering to me for a while to come and play and it seems like a good time to do it as the Mayan Calendar comes to a close. It is not as some believe to be the end of the world, although if you have any perception at all you will have felt the quickening that has taken place over the last twenty years. A quickening which could lead to amazing changes on the inner level of our consciousness. Some have called it Ascension and others transcendence. One of my old teachers called it the quickening. Whatever you label it, there is something happening at many levels across the worlds, both inner and outer, and many of us can get caught up in others egos or we can make a choice and listen to our own inner being. It is difficult to believe that we have the answer, when we are unsure of ourselves or our egos and the ego's of others are telling us that it is the end of the world or that we are all going to ascend; or even worse some are saying that we should follow their teachings if we want to ascend. If Ascension is real then I believe it is an inner process that we all take. It is the journey from the head to the heart and from the outer being to the inner being. It is only a short journey in terms of distance but a monumental quest that we all have to take at some stage in our various incarnations. It is the point where we become more spirit than a physical being. It is when we start to see the energy behind the form. When we see what is real.
Your individual journey is your individual journey and should never be done at the beck and call of another. If someone tells you they know the way, then run like hell for they have no clue. Your journey is a sacred thing and only comes through YOU getting in touch with who you are and then following your inner guide to where it shows you where to go.
When I write my books I am sharing some of my journey through the characters that inhabit my mind. It is no one else's journey but mine. Sure you can follow some of the teachings that I share in my stories or blog posts; teachings which have been taught for thousands of years, but ultimately you have to start to follow your own inner teachings and become your own silent spirit warrior, a silent warrior who is on the path of your own initiation or whatever word you would call it. There is a point in all great adventures when the protagonist has to go deep within themselves to find the answers. On the early stages of this great adventure it is okay to follow a teacher or teaching because that helps us to turn within, but the final leap into the unknown has to be done on our own.
Find a teacher or a teaching that empowers you and gets you going on the greatest adventure that you will ever experience, the journey to your higher self and the keys to the kingdom. On the way be gentle to yourself and others. Have a lightness of being and be benevolent to your fellow man or woman. Respect where they are on their journey and don't infringe, don't judge and do not get angry. There is a point where you will have to detach from your ego and your emotions because they only separate you from others. Strangely it is only through detachment that we can become connected. We are all aspects of the one energy, all on our own journey, a journey which is different from anyone you will ever meet, so be kind to them and allow them to walk on their own path. If they ask for your help give them what you can, but don't hold them up or make them follow your teachings for they may not be ready, and in many cases what they have to learn in this lifetime is completely different from what you have to learn.
We are all like books in a library, each one has a different story, but ultimately no book is any more special than another.
Hopefully, while I am in the lands of the Maya I will find a wireless connection here and there, so I can share some of my experiences.
Have a lightness of being and reach down inside yourself for your own answer. In life there are no guarantees; the key is to trust in the process. Stuie Wilde one of my old teachers and a wonderful scallywag has written a beautiful article on Trust and I have included a link here.

My new book the 33rd Sage and the Initiate is available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble and many other wonderful bookstores and online sellers. If you want to read more about 'The 33rd Sage and the Initiate,' have a look at my website on www.the33rdsage.com or my translatable blog at http://33rdsage.blogspot.com.au/
If you or a friend is just starting off on your spiritual journey I would recommend my first book The 33rd Sage or one of Stuart Wilde's early books as a great introduction. The teaching in both comes from a similar energy. For those who are well down the path I hope you have been reading the Legend of the 33rd Sage in my blog posts, although it is only a first draft, it has a wealth of information within the story. If you like me learn well from story I would also recommend Plum Red by Stuart Wilde. I believe it is the best book he has ever written; a number of Taoist tales from Old China and it is perfect for reading to your children at bed time.

The Elements and the Subconscious Mind
The Elements and the Subconscious Mind
In Old China an emperor stood upon a very high hill. Spread through the valley below him was all of his great army. He could see where a battle would be fought and where the other armies waited. He had developed an intricate system of commands for the generals and officers of his army and the battle began
The emperor could signal to the right, and the right would attack. He could signal to the left, and the left would attack, or the middle. With another signal, each would retreat then attack again. The battle went on for hours. When the emperor saw a weakness he sent troops to that area and eventually they overcame the other army.
This analogy fits your conscious and subconscious minds. Your conscious mind is the emperor and your subconscious, the army, does not see what is going on.
When we are talking of healing what we are really talking about is the subconscious mind. When we look at the physician analogy in my previous blog it is important to understand that our subconscious mind is a wonderful, natural force. It is how we exist in this world. It allows us to have memories of past situations and it is the place where the conscious mind implants all it's belief and knowledge. This can can either be a positive or negative experience. If we place in our subconscious the thought that the world and it's people are filled with great beauty, then that is what we will see. On the other hand if we focus on the pain and suffering in the world all we will see is pain and suffering.
Many of my readers will have an understanding of what I mean by the Subconscious Mind or the Subconscious as it has also been called. Before we go into more detail on how to get the best out of and work with the Subconscious I would like to give my quick explanation of what I believe it is and why it is so important.
When we incarnate into our bodies before birth or shortly after. What is is that incarnates? Some have called it the Soul others have called it the Subconscious and I would guess that if you look into many of the religions it will be known by many other names. For me I will call it the Subconscious. It is my belief that our higher self sends of aspects of itself in the form of the Subconscious to inhabit a body to increase its experiences in this plane. When the subconscious takes residence in the vehicle it is blank and has no knowledge of other lives or of the Higher Self. This is done so that went it incarnates it comes without any knowledge; so that it can work through the issues that it came here to experience. It is not a hit and miss exercise as the higher self and the aspect which incarnates understands what are probabilities for it in the first thirteen years of its life. It understands the parents weaknesses and strengths; it understand the culture it is being born into and it understand what is happening on the world at this time. Yes for it's own experience it chooses to live in Africa, Indonesia or America. It is only our misunderstanding of the wonderful opportunity that we call life, that we judge people for where they are born, the colour of their skin, their culture and their parenting. Mark my words it is the choice of the incarnated to where and when they choose and it is only our lack of understanding that makes us judge others to be different or less than we are.
When we incarnate we even choose what Element we will incarnate into as this elemental bias will allow us the best opportunity to experience what we came to earth to experience. When people start to learn about the Elements or deeper understandings of the Subconscious mind it is because they are ready for it. It is time for them to go beyond their Subconscious Mind.
But what is there to go beyond and how do we do it? Although our subconscious is an empty book when we arrive it comes programmed with our elemental perspective. We have also chosen our genetics because that will offer us the right environment in disease and health patterns to experience what we came here for. Incarnation into the Earth-plane is all about experiences; whether we are human, animal, plant or mineral. If you are attracted to these writings then you have done at least six lifetimes as human and many in all the other dimensions.
Even before your are born your subconscious is taking in impressions from your world. The Subconscious mind takes in everything; hundreds of thousands of inputs every minute. As the old computer saying goes, "Garbage in, garbage out." Before you start feeling guilty for the garbage that you have fed yourself or your children. Stop for a moment, breathe and understand that with regards to yourself you can become like the Emperor in our story and start to take control of your Subconscious mind through Conscious Mind. With regards the children you will have to wear that one. Sorry only kidding. Remember that your children chose you for all the crap that you and the world around you has given them. They understood what they were coming here to experience; they chose it. They get their revenge though. Every child feeds back to their parents and society what it taught them in the first thirteen years. We always blame the teenagers, but maybe we should look closer to home and be thankful that our loving teenagers are giving back to us what we taught them, so that we can deal with our own stuff. Scary thought that. Remember there are no victims. This is one concept that I have had the most difficulty understanding as I watch people in pain and suffering.
The subconscious mind has the ability to create in your world whatever you program into it and whatever you program into it is what you will get in return. The key if you want to change your life is to start taking care with what you program into your subconscious.
Begin today by becoming the observer. Watch how you respond to people and situations. When you meet someone new do you react positively or negatively and why?
When you get angry. Why are you angry, is it something they did or are you projecting your weakness onto them? Often I find it is when we meet someone who shows what we don't like about ourselves or a weakness we have that we can react.
If something makes you sad - why?
If you judge something or someone - why?
If you are fearful - why?
Don't be too tough on yourself; just observe; as you begin to become the observer you start to understand why you respond and then you can rise beyond it. Sometimes it can be a great challenge when you have believed these things for many years. Remember you are here to go beyond your Subconscious mind and have it work for you. It is time to understand your Element and then go beyond it to the Element of Ether.
We live in amazing times when all of us have the opportunity to be the creative essence we were meant to be.
Blessings and Peace and
May your god give you the strength to realize how wonderful you are. One day you may even discover that the God or the Godforce that you seek has always been inside you.

Elements part 18 - Water Transcript 2
Water Transcript 2
Blessings and peace to you all. May the living spirit that shines in all things come forth in a beauty that makes you shine every moment of your day. Peace.
Old Chinese is going to approach the Water Element once again for these reasons: In the midst of our communication the last time we were here, there was a calling from another energy pattern beyond your plane, and many valuable spirits that Old Chinese had gathered here together for this teaching had left. There was a lot given that we will enlarge upon, and a lot that will be the same. But since this is going to be a stabilization that individuals can use to step beyond us, those that gather here feel it important to bring it forward again. In doing so, we will approach it at approximately where the spirits left, knowing that the first part can always be restored and worked with.
Of the four Elements, Fire is the strength, the energy, is the pattern of outward pushing; it is the sun. Fire has strength, and against it nothing can stand if it is positive. If it is positive and uses its energy for the highest good, there is nothing Fire cannot do. Water, however, is the most spiritually oriented of all the elements. Those that are pulled or that reincarnate to be with Water, reincarnate with these things: with the ability not only to grow but the ability to develop a spirituality of self, a spirituality that no other element can do easily. They are naturally those unifies of family, of community, of individuality projecting a spiritual perception. The Water Element, in this way, has great advantage over the others: easily to become spiritual, meaning the ability to perceive, to be. Medium within the area of their service, of working with people easier, having more empathy and understanding for children and elders. Because of these things, they come with the hardest spiritual objective of them all - to deal with emotion. If it were not for the spiritual potential of the Water Element, they would not have to deal so readily with emotions. People are pulled to Fire; they are pulled to the power of that energy, but they cannot get too close or they will burned. They will find, at times, the energy is overpowering, and they will stand away. But everyone has a tendency to be drawn to Water: to drink, to wash; and now in your world, to empty their sewage within. A linking of, basically, emptying the emotions; for the Water Elements pull emotional beings of all elements who have a difficult time following their path.
Consequently, these emotions - fear, judgment, anger, frustration - are not only felt by the individual Water Element, but by those who bring it to them, or that are involved in it and bring it to them, or those in groups or even nations that are drawn to them. Everyone in your world, at one time or another, is drawn to Water. Water is the spiritual energy. Fire, of course, is needed for growth, for warmth; but all are pulled to Water, almost in a fanatical way. There will be those that would do without Fire, but not without Water.
Emotions within a Water Element are just what you may call the balance of the spiritual self. The reason they feel that it is so agonizingly overwhelming is that it is easy to overwhelm Water. Consider the element. A small bit of oil can make it undrinkable - a little dirt or pollution. So, fear of being loved, or lovable, or loving, of fear of being accepted as individual, is the same as fear of having the waters muddied so you could not see and be refreshed by them. Anger is the same as the torment, as the raging waters, as the energy that comes from a tornado, typhoon, or hurricane, and the water is unable to be used. Frustration is when the Water is, basically, not being used correctly; it is not staying in one place; it is flowing here and there; it is like a great dam that has burst in many places and you do not know where to patch first. Judgments, basically, come by a Water Element in regards to what they are dealing with. If someone throws to them the fear, or oil, or pollution, they will judge them easily because they affect them quickly. The Fire Element will not necessarily judge them but will look down upon them and say, 'So what is it they want to do!' The Water Element will say, 'Why me?' The Water Element, in many ways, within a subconscious sense, is what Judaism calls 'the suffering servant.'
But again, on the opposite end, the Water is the most spiritual, the most clairsentient. There are more spiritual mediums dealing with spirit communication in the Water Element, within your world, than any other. There are more Water Element females that are dealing with the social aspect of individuals than any other element. There are more Water Element people dealing with the specifics of the individual's flowingness, not psychiatry, but their flowingness, their understanding, their teaching. And of those families that have a measure of strength, it is the Water Element female that you will usually find in the steadfast, or the Water male.
These are important things to know, for the Water Element deals with spirituality on the tip of their cuff. But upon the tip of the cuff is emotion which they deal with each and every day. A Water individual will have a tendency to overact on things coming forward. First, they do not like authority of any kind. If they are surrounded by authority, their physical bodies will be absorbed with water, hard digestion, difficulty. Authority can take many forms; it can take the form of a male, of a nation, of a society, of a physical plant, of spiritual guidance. The Water Element would react to these because they do like to be what you may call confined. They want to be appreciated, but they do not want to feel this power, and they will rebel against it in the gear of not being loved or, in essence, a judgment, or anger and frustration. They will react in many ways to these things.
They will need to have solidity around them. They will be the ones that are the cleaners, that have to have things in comparative order; and if it is out of order, they feel their life is out of order, and they will be frustrated. It is like keeping a clear lake. They will constantly skim - most important for their physical and emotional being. The Water Element specifically will deal with expressing themselves, and they will express themselves outwardly. And if an individual does not accept that expression, or they feel that someone does not like them, they will react, usually withdraw, or go within a place by themselves. This is because they are dealing with emotion. These projections are strong, powerful, and they need to work with them at all times.
The Water Element says, 'So I deal with emotion; how do I deal with emotion?' Fear, the greatest fear of all, in a Water Element, is being accepted for what they are. If someone says to them, or is in contradiction to what they are believing, or feeling of self, it will have a tendency to cause them to react very sharply. They must know that, basically, there is nothing within your world that someone should throw to you, or project outward to you, that they cannot stand above. If someone says to them, 'What you are is wrong,' or they hear that the person is saying, 'You are not loving.' or they hear that they are not accepted for what they are, they will get mad at the individual for passing these untruths, or comparative truths. They should not, for the individual that projects any kind of gossip, any kind of word analogy to someone else, has a negative essence that, basically, is projected to hurt or to cause some kind of agitation.
If Old Chinese said to three or four of you, 'You are, without doubt, the ugliest, most unacceptable beings that ever walked the face of this earth,' and if you accepted that and you said, 'He has said I am this; I am mad at him,' then by accepting that ruling, by accepting that image, you have caused acceptance by other people. But if the individual says that, and you say, 'That is not true; I am the living spirit within, and what I am is as equal to what he says he is, so that is his view, 'if you take that, then it dies immediately, and other people will look at the individual that originated it and will see them as what they project. It is acceptance of what someone gives you that, basically, proves that what they have said is correct. If someone presents you with flowers and you accept them, then you say they are giving you flowers. I someone says to you, 'You are not good,' and you accept that, and you say, 'Have you heard what he said? He said I am not good,' the reason he said that is because he married the wrong woman and has had four illegitimate children and four naughty dogs. By accepting how they project you, basically, you have accepted the ruling. Someone hands you flower, try it - say, 'What flowers?' They will not know what to do with what they have. Say, 'I do not see any flowers, I do not have need of any flowers; whatever you have give to someone else.' And they will have them, themself, and people will see the flowers in their hands, not in yours. That is one of the things Water Elements deal with more than anything else, because they are empathetic, loving, dealing with these emotions. They will have a tendency to pull those things. If you are walking, or are swimming in water and a lightening storm comes over, you get out for the fear that you may be fried. So you know that water attracts energy, attracts anger, attracts negativity. Lightening is the positive-negative creating light, but it is a negative action.

Return to the Elements of Love
Return to the Elements of Love

I thought because we were looking at the differences between the Elements that it was a good time to revisit an earlier post called the Elements of Love.
Understanding the elements of love allows us to have better relationships. Whether it is your partner, a friend, a client or even a character in a book, they all have their own element or season of love. Each of them because of this inbuilt genetic bias can only see the world from their viewpoint. The key, firstly, to understanding your own elemental type, is that it allows you to be free and be able to see the world in all it's magnificence, not just from a single viewpoint. As a Homoeopath and writer understanding the elements allows me to fully understand how my patient or the character in my books will act in any given situation. After studying the elements or the seasons that exist within all of us I wrote down the teaching in a modern fable called "The 33rd Sage."
She lent forward, her heavy jowls sagging under her words. "The heart has four chambers, one to represent each of the Elements. It is as though each of the chambers was designed to carry one of the love languages; the top two chambers being the extroverts corresponding with Fire and Earth and the two bottom ones, the introverts corresponding to Water and Air." Conway cringed, shifting uneasily on the log. He dropped his head, his eyes scanning the dirt in front of him. His shoulders drooped. He bent over and scratched the ground with a stick. His breathing became shallow, almost stopping. "If the word love scares you, I can use the word rapport.” Conway looked up, smiling weakly. He sat up, forcing a deep breath into his body, immediately lifting his shoulders. She continued, a wry smile creasing the corners of her lips. “Using the language of love brings us into a symbiotic relationship with others. Without understanding the Love Language of others, the lust soon dies and we are left with ashes, another missed opportunity. Anyone we come into contact with deserves to be heard and spoken to in their own language; this is the greatest gift of the ‘Seasons of Love.’ It is not about passion, for that is only natural when we are in rapport with one another; it is about understanding the differences and honouring them. The differences are what give us our life, and our passion.
Ask anyone you meet, if they would they like to live in a world without friction. If they answer yes, I will show you a person who does not know life, but is merely going through the motions. For without friction, there would be no sex, there would be no life. "Get to know everybody's ‘Seasons of Love,’ honour the differences and exalt in the friction, for without the friction our world and our universe would not have come into being." Her passion flowed forth in her words. Conway was in the presence of Fire burning true. She spoke from her heart to his heart, using his language and he knew it, but it was not in the way of manipulation; no it was with a sense of honouring, of respecting, the differences and caring so much about them, that she changed her language so he would understand. For the first time, he understood the meaning of the word communication. He was taken on a ride of discovery, with her words. His mind was filled with word pictures. Words; how he loved their sound and the way the passion of one person could lift another, just by words. "The love language of the Fire Element is words of affirmation, or appreciation, words that uplift the individual. Verbal comments or words of appreciation are powerful communicators of love. They are best expressed in simple, straight forward statements of appreciation such as I really love your cooking, or you look fabulous in that dress. Fire people can almost live on words of appreciation.
"The object of love is not getting what you want, but doing something to support or increase the well-being of whoever you are in relationship with. "Even during lovemaking, the Fire personality responds to words of appreciation. The most important foreplay for them is words. If their second Elemental type is Water then they will require quality time and words of appreciation as a turn on. If their secondary Element is Earth then physical touch along with words of appreciation will be the best form of foreplay.
"The Water Element needs you to spend quality time with them-time when you totally focus on them. Turn off the television. Put down the book. Whatever it is that you are doing, forget it for a few minutes and give them your full attention and you will not believe how much love one person can give. You need to be the ultimate listener. They will respond well to candlelight dinners at home. Sit with them while they share their day and their emotions; for without a good listener they will be trapped inside a bubble of feelings, feelings, which need to flow, like fresh running water. Dam them and they become frustrated, stop the flow and it will kill them emotionally. If it is a Water child they will constantly beg for your attention, not like a Fire child who wants you to tell them how wonderful they are; the Water child wants you to spend time with them, whether it is playing, watching television or reading stories with them. They want to do anything where they will get your full attention. "If you give the Water type words of appreciation, or cook and clean for them, or do material things for them, or give them physical touch they will not feel loved unless you are first and foremost able to give them quality time." The passion, with which the feminine side of Old Chinese spoke, held Conway spellbound.
"The Air Element’s love type is acts of service. If you are in relationship with an acts-of-service person they will clean for you, darn your socks, mow the lawn, have dinner waiting for you when you come home; being the social conscience of all the Elements, they are in service to mankind and their loving style is the same. Foreplay for them is painting the spare room and washing the dishes. Do not make the mistake of allowing them to do everything because they appear to like it, or you will develop the martyr who is crying out for you to share some of the load.
"The Earth type being sense-indulgent, their love style is physical touch. Not just sex or physical foreplay, although that is also important to them. They are the ones that need to touch and be touched, sometimes they lack a sense of your space, which they will quickly fill, with their own. With this type if you want a loving relationship, you need to touch them and allow them to touch you. A kind word or a gift has little weight without the loving touch of your hand or the brush of a leg. In times of difficulty, they want to be touched, but only if they say so."
"In times of stress the Fire Element wants to communicate their difficulty to you. The Water wants you to sit with them. The Air wants you to serve them, while the Earth is warmed by the touch, the senses. "Of course, we are all aspects of the four of these, but generally we have a dominant love type that we respond to positively, more quickly than the others." What is your element of love? What is your friend or partner's element of love? Are you giving them what you want to receive in return?

Elements part 16 - Fire Transcript
Fire Transcript Continued
The Fire female can find a good match with a Fire male; and many times the communication, or the togetherness, will be a companionship but a very strong one, a very overpowering one, one that will get things done, no matter what stands before them. It will be one of dedication, one different from the Fire male and the Air female; but it will be one of love, mutual strength, and sexual energy. Dealing with a Fire male, the Fire female will have to learn to allow the energy to be a small bit brighter, even though they know they can be equally as bright. They will not be dealing with emotion so they have a tendency to be overpowering in groups. A very good alignment; but a Fire female dealing with a Fire male needs to project themselves a little softer, for they will be learning to be soft. The softer they become, the more powerful they will become and the stronger will be the relationship.
The Fire female dealing with a Water male will be difficult, for the Water male will try to be emotional, be in the emotion, but will be trying to be the male image. Where the Fire female has that image, the Water male will be usually dealing with the spiritual evolution. The Fire female will be dealing with a very positive, one minded evolution, and will usually direct the energy, even though she wants to have the support of the Water male. She will not usually be too spiritually involved through a Water male, even though he will be deeply spiritual; and she be deeply involved with him. The Fire female in dealing with that must learn that she must help the Water male in allowing and working with him in the spiritual attitude; for if they do not, the relationship cannot last. They cannot be directive, they must be supportive with the Water male. It must be a supporting relationship - they cannot be leaders; it must be supporting, it must be a team. But the Fire female has the tendency to be the leader, to direct, to say, 'This is where we must go.' They must learn to be supporting, to bring out the strength of the Water male.
The Fire female can get along fairly well with the Air male; in fact, they can be pulled strongly together. The Air male being intellectual, will need energy; and there can be a good strength, a mutual energy return. The only difficulty is that the sexual energies will not ever be too strong and will usually be children because it is the thing to do, not because it is a deep emotion. The Fire female pulled to the Air male can make a strength. If the Air male is getting into the metaphysical, then it can have a strength, for brings out the height of metaphysical teaching, which Air male can do in its highest form. If the Fire is pulled to that, it is the best match, for there will be mutual support and mutual strength. In dealing with that she will have to learn that the Air will have a tendency to be logical about his approach, while she will have a tendency to be very moving. There will have to be a compromise; that is a compromising marriage.
The Fire with an Earth male usually is where they are pulled. Fire looks for something that will, basically, allow them to use their strength, to be strong. They are pulled to an Earth male, who is physical. You will find that the Earth male in the physical form - that is, what you would call rough, a typical Earth male, very sexual, very energetic, very pushy - will pull the Fire female. The sadness is that it will usually not work. The Fire female dealing with an Earth male, who is creative in the art form, will usually help their creativity; but the Earth male will not need the Fire female after a while. So it is not a very good strength; but if they want to make it, the female must know that her energy can bring the creativity out; but they have to deal with the softness to help the sexual energy. They cannot deal with just a positive energy pushing forth.
The Fire Element female is extremely strong. Learning that the beauty they have within them is their greatest spiritual endeavour; learning to express this softly and warmly. The Fire male uses his energy to warm all the time, to be positive to them, accepting and listening.
The Fire Element, both male and female, in the spiritual highness, can use either a clear crystal or a rose crystal for their strength. They can use these other stones but not as high as the crystal - the diamond and all minerals or gems that deal with the darkness of reds.
The Fire male and female are very sexual. The males are very energetic in this way. If their energy is not being used, if they are not going forward, they will have a tendency to be pulled to a very sexual relationship, usually Earth, or a female in the water Element that is trying to understand their emotion. The same with the Fire male.
Musically, they are pulled to the music of the earth, of air, of water, not of fire. They need emotion within music. They need the strength of air, the baseness of earth. They need all three, but not the strength of fire. That only cause them a little more difficult to deal with. They should never deal with Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, most of the Russians, Khatchaturian. They should deal with Mozart, Beethoven, Handel: those, basically, that deal with the earth, which would be more modern in your world, what you would call 'country-western,' not what you would call 'soul' (Hermetic says: That is unusual, music call soul), because that deals specifically, with a high vibration Fire should be not dealing with. Jazz is not a good one either: more Earth Element.
Fire basically will be pulled in reading to those things that can relax them and take them away from their energy, not getting them involved in more energy. They will be travellers, they will be the strength to your world. The Fire Element is the light; but, used negatively, they are the darkness that you see daily.
In Old China, there was sage sitting under the plum tree in the dead of winter, with snow all around him, piled up above his knees. The student was walking hurriedly down the road, bundled heavily. He saw the sage sitting under the tree and he said, 'Your crazy. Why do you sit in snow under a tree that has no cover? Why do you not come into the village where it is warm?
The sage said, But I am warm; I have warmth. Feel my face.
The student touched his face and it was warm. He said, 'But come into the village. You will feel the warmth and their will be people. Why stay out here within the forest? The animals are asleep; the trees are asleep.'
Then the sage said, 'But the coldness is on the outside here. The coldness in the village is on the inside. I would prefer the warmth within and the coldness without.'
Peace….to you all.

Elements part 14 - Fire Transcript
The Fire Element Transcript
The following transcript is of a channeling that was delivered by Old Chinese when he delivered the talks on the Elements. Over the next few weeks I want to share these with you as they will deepen your understanding of the Elements. This is Fire week; so over the next few days I will deliver the Fire transcript in three parts.
May the spirits of Fire be with you in this time. May they shine their light upon you and keep you warm on the inside.
The Fire Element is that individual who reincarnates into his body between the 21st December and the 21st March in the Northern Hemisphere. This individual has the ability to reincarnate into the body from conception to eight weeks after birth. The individual choosing this period of time is choosing a high strength Element, a power, as you can see. Of all the Fire Elements in your world, approximately seventy five percent of them are men; approximately twenty five percent women. We will deal with their spiritual growth.
A man basically growing within the Fire Element has one of two ways to go. There is no grey within the Fire Element. It is either, a strong, powerful, positive, projecting individual; or an individual that uses the fire in the negative element to bring chaos and ruin to all he touches. So the Fire Element can be the most fearful, especially within the male. But at the same time, it can be the most charismatic, for the amount of energy, used in the higher sense, brings warmth to all who come around them; brings an energy; brings the sun after a long fall. Water, Air and Earth are automatically pulled towards the Fire Element, either out of respect or out of deep fear; not ever out of nonchalance.
The Fire male, using the energy he has, can melt all negativity in front of him. He has the ability of the sun, or the burning fire within the winter, to melt, to heat, to warm, to bring strength. He has the ability to see not only the warmth within all things, but to humidify and to make water less flooding in its essence, to make the air or wind less terrifying and to bring things from the earth by its energy. Without Fire, without its energy, Water, Air and Earth could not survive. If, at this day, all Fire Elements were eliminated from your earth, you would have chaos.
The Fire male puts forth an energy, in the negative sense, that is equally as terrifying upon the opposite scale. Instead of basically projecting the Fire outward, they pull it into a depth that is within them. They create what has been known by the biblical and ancient wisdoms as Hades, Saliel; as in China, Chou Me Ong - the hell within. You go to Hades within, you go to hell, because it is within an individual. A positive Fire Element brings it out into the world and it is not within. It is salient for all to see. A negative Fire Element pushes it so deeply within that it becomes chaotic, masochistic and terrifying. it is equally strong because, within your world, people are pulled to fear; they are pulled to negativity. If you say, in a brief moment, 'Go down this street, there is a positive man talking of the beauty of spring; but go down that street and there is a man talking of death, killing' - there is a man talking of the negative. you will have a horde going to the negative and very few to the positive. Because of that one thing, the negative is powerful in your world, but never as powerful as the sun. And the weakest point of the negative Fire Element is at the Summer Solstice when, in essence, the sun is the highest and the moon the lowest. One of the reasons that it is said that things happen differently at the full moon is because the negative Fire Element uses the coldness of the light, the reflection of the sun as, in essence, their energy; and it manifest then. Positive Fire Elements get along well together if they have the equal balance of Water, Air and Earth working with them.
The female Fire Element has great difficulty in your world. She usually comes into this world to deal specifically with understanding her femininity because she is coming forth from a lifetime or lifetimes that have been extremely degrading to others. She is having to express her femininity in the hardest way. A positive Fire female becomes beauty as the sun, but soft. A negative Fire female becomes what you might call, in your words, the darkness on wheels: meaning, specifically, that the female negative element uses the energy in a more secretive way. Because of that, it is more terrifying and usually they will support a negative male element. But because there are so few of them, there are not usually too many problems.
The attributes of the strengths of the male Fire Element are that they are leaders, they have the strength of society. They have the rapport; they have the ability to lead; they have the ability, in war, or in peace. Dealing with the Fire Element male, you must know these things: at times, his energy is like the sun and can come so that it is over powering. His energy, his instance that things, basically, must continue to go, asking for no rest, is very tiring to those who need relaxation and rest. He usually does not need long hours of rest but consistently wants to pout the energy forth.
They will deal with people usually very curtly and very straight forwardly. If you say to a Fire Element, 'Am I doing the right thing?' They will usually say, No,' it is 'No.' If you say that to a Water Element, they will cry and probably in one way say, No,' in a long explanation of emotion. To an Air Element, they will try to explain it, in depth, why it is 'No,' and usually put you to sleep. An Earth Element will usually not know which way to go, or will not have the strength and will say, 'Wait a minute, while I consult someone else.' But a Fire Element will say, 'This is the way we are to go.' Sometimes, when they are doing this and are not in tune, they go where they should not go, too fast.
They interrelate very strongly, in the male energy, with other male Fire Elements, as long as there is a balance. If two male Fire Elements are to work together, there has to be at least two female Water Elements to balance it, or three Air Elements, or a whole legion of Earth Elements. It is because of the energy. the Fire Element male, basically, does not get along with the Water Element male. Not saying they cannot be friends but to work together is very difficult. Not that the Fire does not need that emotion, that softness to balance, that intuitive point, but the male Water Element, because of the masculinity, will have a tendency to be a little draining and the Fire Element will usually not deal with them. The Water male will usually turn into intellectual projection and the Fire Element does not like to get into intellectual games. The Air male can get along with a Fire Element male, if the Fire is a strong one; if he has the patience to listen to all the Air Element wants to say and then go ahead, no matter what has been said. The Air Element and the Fire male can have a deep relationship if there is mutual understanding that they are sounding boards for each other. The Fire Element and the Earth Element can work together. The Earth Element usually becomes attached, or a follower, or what you would call a very strong second person or supporter - a minister of creativity, for it is the Fire that will pull out the creativity of Earth.
A Fire Element dealing with the other males deals best with an Earth Element; secondly with an Air; third with a Water; and with a Fire Element last, because they are so much alike in energy. You have heard that in Old China many empires fell because there were many generals who The 33rd Sage is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Book Depository, Watersons, Xlibris and a number of online book stores.

The Secondary Cycle
One of the things that fascinated me the most when I first studied the Elements was what G called the Secondary cycle. Days joined together as Spring headed towards Summer. Days of rain and sun and wind. It was a time in Melbourne when all the seasons came together in one day. For those who have lived in Melbourne, some would say that it happens all the time, but that would be a little unkind.
As I looked around at the people in the audience around me I could see how the Elements were stirring things up and, for those who were not aware of the seasons, it was an uncomfortable time.
One friend of mine, who was studying for her masters in fine art, was very emotional and agitated. She was not producing enough work and was frustrated at what she saw as her own procrastination. If she had only understood the seasons. It was the beginning of the flow, as the winter snow was melting and with it would come the Water, the emotions and the frustration which is part of the Element in the beginning, because initially it has no power of its own until it gains momentum through the other Elements. It is the one season that is affected by all the other Elements. In this time it was important to realise this and to know that water will always go towards the lowest level.
As it nears Summer the Air will stir up the emotions. It is a turbulent time. As with all the Elements and the seasons, we need to understand that we mirror them with our very being. In my own body he could feel the emotions stirring, the frustration at not being able to finish many projects, but knowing that I was only mirroring the season, I could relax in the knowledge that in the Summer would come the harvest of the actions I had put into place in the Winter.
I only had to know the seasons and that I was always in the right place at the right time.
How freeing it was to understand life was a cycle. The seasons followed each other as consistently as night followed day.
Life is a cycle. The whole universe is a cycle, and us as human beings are just a cycle interwoven within the fabric of the other cycles.
There are cycles within the day, the month and the year and in groups of years. There many that believe there are larger cycles which continually repeat themselves.
The secondary cycle is a twelve year cycle in which we are influenced strongly each year by one of the elements or a combination of the Elements. In the twelve year cycle we spend the first three years in Fire, the next three years in Water, then three years in Air and finally three years in Earth. In year one we are in Fire and Earth, year two centre Fire and in year three Fire and Water. Then in Year four we move into water and Fire, year five centre Water and in year six Water and Air. Year seven begins in Air and Water, year eight in centre Air and year nine in Air and Earth. In year nine we move into Earth and Air, year eleven centre Earth and complete the cycle in year twelve under the influence of Earth and Fire.
Your own Element does not change or disappear; rather it is both negatively and positively influenced by the secondary cycle. Many women feel clucky especially between the ages of 27 to 30 and 39 to 42. This is natural when you look at the secondary cycle, because in these years we are all strongly influenced by Water, the Element of emotion, of family, of nurturing, of caring for the young. Women can want and have children at nearly any age but the influence is very strong around this time and also between 15 to 18 when the secondary cycle is also in Water.
Another friend of mine a Fire personality, was frustrated with what was happening in her life. In the Winter, she had had all these fantastic ideas about recreating her future, but as the future became a reality, she became more and more frustrated at the speed with which things were happening. She wanted to change jobs, to travel, anything that would take her away from where she was. If only she could relax and stay where she was and allow the cycle of the seasons to occur, then in time she would experience a beautiful harvest. It is sometimes easy to see what other people need for their lives to work, but it is important to reflect on what is happening in your life. As you look towards the cycles within nature and the seasons you will see a rhythm that has an impact on your lives. By working with the seasons and these cycles your life will begin to move into a flow, a concept I will discuss later in our blogs together.

The Elements part 7 - Incarnation
Incarnation
Man is like the seasons. There are many correlations between the cycle of man and the cycle of the seasons. The more you become aware of the seasons the more they will give up their secret; their memories....... The elements themselves are Fire, Water, Air and Earth. We always see them in that order because they correspond to the seasons: Fire with Winter, Water with Spring, Air with Summer and Earth with the Autumn. It is appropriate to begin with Fire, the Winter, because that is at the beginning. Anything in the fire part of the cycle is at the beginning. Look out the window to the Winter, to the snow on the ground. At first everything looks like it is dead, but it is only hibernating. It is preparing for the growth to come. For Winter like Fire, is the imagining of the new. To understand Fire is to know the energy of anticipation. Within the seed is the tree to be born. Within the idea is the vision complete. The Fire individual incarnates between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. The closer they incarnate to the Winter Solstice the more they take on the aspects of the previous element Earth. The Closer they incarnate to the Spring Equinox then the more that they show aspects of the element of Water......
A Fire Element in the southern hemisphere incarnates between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox (June 21 - September 21): A Water Element incarnates between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice (September 21 - December 21): An Air Element incarnates between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox (December 21 - March 21): An Earth Element incarnates between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice (March 21 - June 21).
Incarnation is when the spirit enters and takes up residence in your body. This can happen from conception till eight weeks after birth, effectively giving you an eleven-month window to incarnate. You cannot tell a person's element from their birth date or the astrological sign, although the position of celestial bodies at birth will be a further influence. For those of a more scientific bent rather than incarnation, maybe see it as an activating of a genetic sequence that gives us personality and our predispositions to health and disease.
Like the seasons of Nature, the Elements change gradually from day to day as the year progresses. A Fire Element who incarnates in late June will be very different from a person who incarnates towards the end of Fire in the middle of September. If you incarnate on the cusp between one element and the next, then you become Fire Water, Air Earth, Water Air, Earth Fire and so on. There are twelve types. Each Element can be broken up into three dependent upon when the individual incarnates. In the case of Fire it would be Fire-Earth, Fire or Fire-Water. With Water it would be Water-Fire, Water and Water-Air. With Air it would be Air-Water, Air and Air-Earth. And finally with Earth it would be Earth-Air, Earth and Earth-Fire.
The elements themselves are not necessarily divided up into equal amounts of men and women. The percentages are always constantly changing in alignment with the Element of the countries and the world itself. But roughly at this present time Fire Elements can be broken down into 85 percent Men and 15 percent Women. Water elements can be broken down into 80 percent Women and 20 percent Men. Air roughly 90 percent Men and 10 percent Women and Earth is roughly 50-50. You can see the elements as they are represented in the countries. For example the earth element or the syphilitic is highly represented in the earth countries like Australia and Africa, while the air is represented by countries like England and France, with France having a strong mix of air and water.

The Elements of Man Part 5 - Earth
Earth - Autumn
If you live in harmony with the seasons your life will begin to take on a wonderful flow or rhythm, and your life will become more interesting as you become a part of all things.
"The Emperor and the sage walked into the Equinox of the fall. And the sage told him it is time for the leaves to fall, for the season to begin to go to sleep. It is the time for all things to come to an end. It is the time, the cycle of all livingness. Not only does this mean that the individual should relax, they should review, but they should maintain their strength, in the time or the time of their passing. It is a time when things are re-fertilised, where they go back to the earth, where the animals stock their homes. It is a time of refurbishing, of rebuilding, of shaking off the old, so the new can come forward within the Winter. It is a time of great growth, for there is always an over-amount of growth when you begin to cut away the deadwood. This always happens. It is vital for all to know that as you walk within the Fall, you begin to see the dying of things. That is why the colours are red and orange and yellow-because they try to bring the life of brilliance in their end. It is the last breath. As things become quiet and the first snow falls and the ice is frozen, the blanket has been laid and things are asleep. It is a time of great rejoicing within, for you have, in essence, completely refurbished your body. You usually find yourself in a place where a lot of old things can fall away. And where new begins to fall into your life, the right way.
"The Emperor and the sage walked and they talked, and saw all of these things; the squirrel getting ready for the sleep, the bear, even man, as they were putting together the wood for the Winter, making ready their homes. This was truly a time of getting rid of the old to repair for the new. They walked toward the Winter Solstice, the Emperor seeing more than he had ever seen in his life. He had seen the seasons; had walked within the leaves of the Fall. And the sage said, "You have learned about people. You have learned people are the same as seasons. The person of the Earth is in a lifetime of rebuilding; is in a lifetime of trying to get away, to throw away the physical, the material, and refurbish themselves; you will know such persons for they will be dealing with physical and material lives. Look at them as the Fall, and you will know what to do; they will be creative, they will be highly inventive artists; but within that, they will have a tendency to go through great rejuvenation, great involvement of their life. Know that and you will know your people!’
“The sage walked on with the Emperor."
Earth Element
The Earth Element's time is the Autumn. It is the time after the harvest, when all the work has been done and energy begins to diminish. It is the time of brilliant colours emerging, as if they are Nature’s last denial of the end about to come. It is visual, exciting and dramatic. It is the time when the old falls away to allow space for the new. The autumn leaves fall to the earth to allow fertiliser for the new growth that is to come. The bear eats ravenously and stores fat for the Winter. It is a time of relaxation and review as the end draws near. The colour of Earth is green and the symbol is the square.
The Earth in relationships; it suffocates Fire; causes Water to lose clarity; is disturbed by Air and joins together with itself...
The Earth Element
The earth element rules the choleric temperament and has its seat in the gall bladder, the bowels, the adrenals and its control point is the anus. It is associated with the digestive and eliminative systems and it is in charge of the assimilation of food and drink. Its nature is warm, dry, firm and steady and its energy moves downward. Some of the keynotes for the earth element are dryness, solidity, stability, substantiality, steadiness, and resistance. In alchemy it stands for the precipitant, the material substances and essential residue of an alchemical solution. Its negative root emotion is fear and more typically they need to be in control, which creates irritability, impatience and anger. Its color is green.
In general, the earth element rules the formative principle that causes the materialization of forms, the sense of ego, and the sensation of touch.
The Earth Temperament.
The psychological basis of the Earth type is the formative consciousness, which relates through the sensation of touch and kinesthetic awareness. When in balance they are clear thinking, precise, dependable, honest, practical, organized, skillful, serious, hard working, steady and strong. They consider themselves to be "grounded and rational" by nature but they can easily become dry, critical, over realistic, as well as materialistic, pessimistic, skeptical, and sarcastic. Their strengths are that they are bold, practical, adventurous, dependable, competitive, self reliant, industrious steady, strong, logical, decisive and persuasive. Their weakness is that they are easily angered, irritable, impatient, critical, pessimistic, bossy, hostile, rigid, argumentative, aggressive, demanding, unresponsive, resistant, revengeful, abusive, and have a tendency toward brooding. Such attributes makes a very intense, dynamic, and at times, difficult combination of temperamental qualities.
The Russian psychologist, Pavlov, called them the "impetuous" types because they are marked by strong excitation of the nervous system. This is quite obvious in their psychological makeup as they show strong extroverted tendencies, while at the same time, they are prone to “fight” rather then “flight’.
Jung described them as "sensation" orientated individuals because they experienced things through their tactile senses. When they are healthy they are industrious and are often very successful, yet they may have a tendency toward being dictatorial and miserly. They are worse < late nights, too much rich food, and alcohol, yet they seem drawn toward these kinds of things. They have a difficult time in their relationships with people because of their argumentative nature. In the work environment they are bossy and will become angry quite easily if their wishes are not fulfilled.
At home they can be irritable, critical, and dominant which makes home life difficult. Although they may wish to terminate their relationship, they have a hard time letting go of the control they have over other persons. Control is a very important issue for them; because they always fear being out of control they are always trying to control others and the situations they are in. Under stress they become increasingly more frustrated, excitable, restless, heated, cross, irritable, impatient, and angry. When an Earth is in " bad humour" everyone will know it because they become more and more “bitter”. When they lose control they may become bitter, resentful, revengeful, angry, abusive, and violent. They have dual personalities that can be as courageous as a Dr. Jekyll, and then in an instant transform into terrible Mr. Hyde.

In the coming blogs we will look at the differences between the Elements; how to easily tell them apart and begin to dig deeper into them as people and also we will start to look at the combinations. In truth we all made up of all the Elements, but we generally have a dominant one. This dominance comes with its strengths and weaknesses. The aim for all of us is to move towards the Element of Ether, where we move beyond the individual Elements.
